Zephyr has fallen gravely ill. He suffered a mysterious form of toxicity that has severely damaged his liver, and possibly other organs. It’s been roughly 48 hours since we discovered him lying in large pools of blood on the floor. He continues to improve slowly, but he’s got a long, long recovery ahead. Our vet is amazed at his ability to survive. He thought he was going to die for sure. Animals have a remarkable will to survive.
